CORAL REEF ADVENTURE

Author Tina Cho discusses her beautiful picture book “The Ocean Calls: A Haenyeo Mermaid Story”. The story revolves around a young girl’s bond with her grandmother and the sea. It includes details about Korea’s centuries old tradition of “granny mermaids”, amazing women who fish by diving deep in the sea without using oxygen tanks.
