Read Across America

READ ACROSS AMERICA

Grab your hat, and read with the cat!
Celebrate reading with us today, March 2nd, on the birthday of beloved children's author, Dr. Seuss.

Readers of all ages are encouraged to participate, because...
"You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."

WHY READ TODAY (OR ANY DAY)?

According to the National Education Association
"children who are read frequently develop stronger reading skills."  Reading positively impacts a child's counting skills, their ability to write their name, their ability to read, or pretend to read, their reading proficiency and math skills, letter and sound recognition and more.

Check out this list of Educator Recommended Books for all ages.

Ask us about our different reading programs:
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten (birth - Pre-K)
Beginning Readers Challenge (grades K - 2)
Independent Readers Challenge (grades 3 - 5)

AND DON'T FORGET TO PICK UP A BOOK AND READ TODAY (AND EVERY DAY)!
